Friendly hotel, amicable staff, excellent location close to the center. Location very close to downtown bars and restaurants, many restaurants and walking paths. For shots visit Fletcher's, nestled within 15 minutes' walk of the property.

The lack of complimentary bottles of water was disappointing, especially for a fancy B&B. The room was decent, but where's my welcome gift? I almost wanted to leave a good review for the nice views, but then remembered the insipid tap water situation.

Amazing breakfasts with views
Waking up to lovely views of Denali while enjoying a diverse breakfast spread made each morning lovely. The warmth and attentiveness of Monica, our host, enhanced our stay.
I was somewhat disappointed that water bottles weren't complimentary, costing a dollar each. While tap water was available, carrying cups around wasn't convenient during our explorations.

The breakfast provided a good variety of homemade options.
I was surprised to find that water bottles weren't complimentary. They cost a dollar each. While there were cups available for tap water, it wasn't the most convenient solution when out and about. The location's entrance was quite obscured.

Fine views and warm hospitality
I recently had the pleasure of staying at this fantastic B&B and it was an absolute dream! The morning views were amazing, with a sweeping panorama of Cook's Inlet and even Denali while enjoying a home-cooked breakfast that was delicious and had a great variety. Monica and Steve really went out of their way to, from the cozy, clean room to the thoughtful little touches like laundry facilities. My only regret is that I couldn't stay longer!

The quadruple room was spacious and well-equipped with a comfortable king bed, a cozy living area, and a kitchenette. The breakfast was a highlight, with a good variety of homemade options and very nice views of the mountains. Getting to explore this hidden gem so close to downtown was an added bonus, though the location posed a slight challenge with its obscured entrance.
